**ELGR 211 Test 1 Guideline** **2024 Fall** A 75-min test. There will be 4 or 5 problems in the test. The topics to be covered is CH1 to CH2. Mainly they are: - Calculate the current, voltage, charge, power, energy etc. at certain moments or during a period of time. - Resistance equivalence, voltage, current relationship in different connections of resistors - KVL, also the calculation of voltage difference of points that have no direct physical connection - KCL, VDR, IDR You may need to use KCL, KVL, Ohm's law, Voltage division, current division etc. in one big problem. Closed Book, one letter size page (front and back side) page formula is allowed. Write your name on the formula sheet and turn in with your test paper. The derivative and integral formula will be given if you need (ask if you need). Formula sheet: You can put words, equations, circuit schematics on the sheet. You can put text book example problems on the sheet. You are not allowed to put a whole homework problems on the sheet. Write your name on your formula sheet and turn it in with the test. No other papers except formula sheet and test are allowed. If you need scratch papers, feel free to ask. Important: Don't forget to bring your formula sheet and calculator to the test.
