It is also the study concentrates more on physical evidence; it’s collection, handling, identification and preservation in coordination with the various criminalist in the crime laboratory. He is an individual who gathers documents and evaluates facts about crime. Identify and apprehend the suspect. To recover stolen property. To assist the state in prosecuting the party charged with the offense. Prepare sound criminal cases for prosecution BATAAN HEROES COLLEGE (BHC) SPECIAL CRIME INVESTIGATION WITH LEGAL MEDICINE Qualities of an Investigator Thus one must possess the following characteristics: Perseverance – steadfastness, persistence, and resolution to bring the desired conclusion in spite of obstacles connected with criminal investigation. Endurance – it is the ability to last physically and mentally, enduring sleepless nights and tiresome days. Incorruptible honesty and integrity – the ability to resist or avoid temptations.8 The intelligence and wisdom of Solomon – this is the ability of the investigator to decipher falsehood from truth and separate the grain from the chaff. BATAAN HEROES COLLEGE (BHC) SPECIAL CRIME INVESTIGATION WITH LEGAL MEDICINE Qualities of an Investigator The knowledge of psychology and other natural sciences – the investigator must know how the different patterns of human behavior, the prevailing situations in a specific environment and the laws of nature in order to detect the deception and lie. Acting Ability – the ability to go down to the level of the minor, the prostitute or slum dwellers, or the level of the other professionals or the members of the elite. Mastery of Oral and Written Communication – the investigator must know how to communicate with the people in the community through oral or written form. The power to “read between the lines” Working knowledge of martial arts and firearms proficiency – extra skill than can be used by the investigator in situations like arresting and interrogating a certain suspect. Binaritan, Morong, Bataan wherein the victims; alias Je, 29 years old, female, married, Filipino, and a resident of Purok 5, Brgy Mabayo, Morong, Bataan aka Jorie, 21 years old, female, Factory worker, single, Filipino and a resident of Sitio Crossing, Brgy. Poblacion, Morong, Bataan, aka Anjie, 22 years old, female, Factory worker, single, Filipino and a resident of Sitio Crossing, Brgy. Poblacion, Morong, Bataan, reported to this station to file a complaint against the arrested suspect identified as Ben Tong y Noher, 44 years old, male, married, driver of Globe Corporation and a resident of Brgy. Nagbalayong, Morong, Bataan (stranger). Investigation conducted disclosed that a concerned citizen immediately approached the Arresting Officer who was then conducting Police Visibility in the area and upon response, the victims approached him to report that while they were inside the Public Utility Vehicle (PUV), the suspect touched the private part of the two victims and the chest area of the other victim.
