ONCE PERMISSION IS GIVEN POIC WILL EMBARK CREW AND PROCEED WITH THE EVOLUTION. 8.-RECOVERY: SAME PERSONNEL AS LAUNCH, POIC WILL REQUEST PERMISSION TO RECOVER THE RIB, ONCE PERMISSION IS GIVEN THE RIB WILL COME ALONG SIDE AND BE BROUGHT BACK AND SECURED TO THE RAIL, ONCE SECURED TO THE RAIL THE POIC WILL DIS-EMBARK THE CREW AND REQUEST PERMISSION TO PLACE THE RIB AT THE SKID, ONCE THE RIB IS ON THE SKID PERSONNEL WILL SECURE FOR SEAS..5 State the types of underway replenishment. 1: CONNECTED REPLENISHMENT: (CONREP) FOR SOLID CARGO, PERSONNEL AND FUEL TRANSFER.THIS METHOD CONNECTS THE DELIVERY SHIPS TO THE RECEIVING SHIP BY MEANS OF A WIRE ROPE FOR SOLID CARGO AND FUEL (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CLOSE-IN FUEL RIG AND ASTERN REFUELING), OR A SYNTHETIC FIBER ROPE FOR LIGHT CARGO, MAIL AND PERSONNEL TRANSFER. 2: VERTICAL REPLENISHMENT: (VERTREP) FOR SOLID CARGO, LIGHT STORES, MAIL AND PERSONNEL, THIS METHOD UTILIZES HELICOPTERS TO AIRLIFT CARGO FROM THE DELIVERY SHIP TO THE RECEIVING SHIP..6 State the location and purpose of each underway replenishment station. 3: FORWARD CONREP FAS STATIONS: The two forward FAS stations Nos. 3 and 4 consist of a swivel joint assembly and base plate mounted on the house side with associated cleats, blocks and padeyes for hauling in and attaching the fueling hose. 4: AFT CONREP FAS STATIONS: AFT FAS STATION NO. 7 CONSISTS OF A SWIVEL JOINT AND BASE PLATE MOUNTED ON A TRIPOD TYPE KINGPOST WITH ASSOCIATED CLEATS AND PADEYES FOR HAULING IN AND ATTACHING THE FUELING HOSE. NO. 8 IS SIMILAR TO STATION NOS. 3 AND 4 EXCEPT IT HAS A 2-1/2” JP-5 RISER LIKE STATION NO. 7. 5: ASTERN FAS STATION: THIS STATION CONSISTS OF DECK-MOUNTED CLEATS AND PADEYES AND A U-SHAPED HOSE SADDLE AT THE DECK EDGE 6: VERTREP: STATIONS ARE LOCATED, ONE ON THE 01 LEVEL FORWARD AND ONE ON THE MAIN DECK AFT AT THE HELICOPTER LANDING AREA, 7: THE SOLID CARGO RECEIVING STATIONS: ARE LOCATED AMIDSHIPS, ON THE 01 LEVEL, PORT STA 6 AND STARBOARD STA 5.7 State the following in regards to your ships anchors: a. PLACE TWO TURNS OF WIRE AROUND THE STUD ON THE SECOND LINK AT EACH SIDE OF THE 30-FATHOM (180 FT) DETACHABLE LINK. 3. PLACE THREE TURNS OF WIRE AROUND THE STUD ON THE THIRD LINK AT EACH SIDE OF THE 45-FATHOM (270 FT) DETACHABLE LINK, AND SO FORTH.
