Keywords Abstract An abstract of a scientific article is a precise, clear, and stand-alone statement that provides an overview of the work to the reader. Why Is a Good Abstract Important? 1. The abstract sets the tone and entices the potential readers to gain access to your full work. 2. Many a times an abstract is the only component of the manuscript that is read by the readers 3.
