The GS two kinds of muscle are voluntary muscle and involuntary muscle. Voluntary muscles can be controlled by conscious control while involuntary muscles are muscles that cannot be controlled or not under conscious control. M THREE TYPES OF MUSCLES Skeletal Muscles Muscles attached to the bones. (voluntary Muscles found in the arms, legs, back, muscles) chest, and face. Smooth Muscles Muscle layers of the internal organs (Involuntary such as the stomach and the intestines. muscles) Muscles that move all the time and cannot be controlled. Muscle Disorder and Injuries ⮚ Strain –A strain is when a muscle is stretched too much and tears. It is also called a pulled muscle. I A strain is a painful injury. It can be caused by an accident, overusing a muscle, or using a muscle in SS the wrong way. ⮚ Muscle cramp – involuntary and painful contraction of a muscle that does not loosen up.
