Co. is committed to providing its employees, service providers, contractors, and visitors with a healthier and safer environment. The company's policy aims to ensure the safety of workers, facilities, service providers, contractors, and visitors through an integrated health and safety system that covers all the company's activities. Compliance with statutory, regulatory (including any directives related to public health issued by local authorities), and contractual occupational health & safety requirements is the minimum standard. The responsibility for implementing the health and safety policy is shared among all company employees and clients and is divided as follows: ## 1. Company Director and General Managers/Factory Managers/Operations Manager/Department Managers/Supervisors * Understand and apply CFAI’s health, safety, and environment management system requirements, legislation, and other relevant regulations. * Provide information, instruction, and assistance to all supervisory staff to understand CFAI’s OSHMSS requirements to protect the health and safety of all employees. * Promptly respond to recommendations, suggestions, or complaints arising from the continuous application. * Attend and be actively involved in co-chairing OSH committee meetings/talks and tour worksites regularly. * Monitor departments, projects, and contractors, holding them accountable for their individual safety performance. * Ensure all employees understand their commitment to refuse and stop unsafe practices by providing the necessary information, instruction, training, and supervision to ensure their health and safety while at work. ## 2. OSH Department * Develop safe work procedures within the organization. * Communicate and consult with workers on occupational safety and health issues. * Schedule, support, and conduct regular inspections of the facilities. * Conduct risk assessments, take appropriate measures, and review them periodically and when necessary. * Ensure the implementation of emergency response plans and practical exercises. * Provide appropriate training to workers and identify the scopes of training. * Review incident reports and ensure corrective action plans are set and implemented. Review, approve, contribute to, record, and file all required documents and reports related to the occupational safety and health management system by the governing regulatory bodies as required by legislation, and inform the relevant authorities about accidents, work-related injuries, and occupational diseases. * Ensure that all workers are provided with appropriate and well-maintained tools and equipment, as well as any other special protective devices that may be required. * Continuously improve occupational safety and health management. * Perform other necessary tasks as stated in the job description. ## 3. Workers * Attend and participate in safety committee meetings. * Commit to the occupational safety and health management system by following all directions provided by responsible persons and using personal protective equipment. * Notify the supervisor of any unsafe conditions or acts that may be dangerous to other employees or themselves. ## 4. Contractors * Ensure that their omployees are fully aware of CFAI’s OSHSM, safe operating procedures, and are competent to perform their assigned tasks. They should be educated to work safely and have training as per client or work requirements. * Cooperate fully with CFAI representatives in respect to safety audits, reporting, orientation, and meetings. * Maintain a strong commitment to health, safety, and environment in all of their work execution and operations. ## 5. Visitors * Report to the designated representative upon reaching the site and complete the visitor safety orientation. * Review and be familiar with all site rules and follow the instructions of the site. * Never walk around a worksite unescorted. * Be aware of emergency response requirements for the site. The policy is implemented through: 1. Ensuring that the responsibilities of management are clearly assigned at all levels and that their roles are defined. 2. Establishing, developing, and maintaining effective policies/procedures in consultation with the staff, including those for natural disasters, pandemic emergencies, etc. 3. Complying with statutory, regulatory (including any directives related to public health issued by local authorities), and contractual occupational health & safety requirements as a minimum standard. 4. Recognizing the link between efficiency and health & safety to minimize costs, losses, and disruptions arising from accidents, ill health, and dangerous occurrences. 5. Providing and maintaining effective arrangements, including machinery, equipment, systems of work, and welfare facilities. 6. Providing information, instruction, training, and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety of employees while at work. 7. Monitoring and maintaining the working environment to ensure the effectiveness of the set arrangements and possible improvements. 8. Progressively identifying and assessing all risks and thereby eliminating, mitigating, and/or controlling them. 9. Receiving feedback from employees and other parties to enhance the effectiveness of the system and procedures. 10. Creating awareness among employees and management about this policy. 11. Investigating accidents and injuries, determining their causes, preventing recurrence, and informing the relevant authorities. 12. Continuously improving through follow-up and inspection.
