Hematology Analyzer ( CBC ) Introducti It is a device that can display all the details of blood on components easily and in a very short time with high accuracy, and helps the doctor to discover the presence of diseases. Outlin 1.1e Blood components 1.2 Device history 1.3 Work principle 1.4 Calculating 1.1 Blood components Whole blood contains Red cells, White cells, and Platelets (45% of volume) suspended in blood Plasma (55% of volume). Red cells They are the cells responsible for transporting oxygen and food to all parts of the body and returning carbon dioxide to the lungs, and they are the ones that give blood its red color. Plas It is the substance responsible for making the ma blood a liquid that carries all cells and nutrients to all parts of the body, and maintains the balance of the body White They cells are the cells responsible for protecting the body from diseases, and their number in the blood is little compared to red blood cells, as they reach only 1%. blood census was conducted Device by thehistory German scientist Karl vierordt which was a slide covered with egg whites, and a quantity of blood was placed on it, and after the blood dried, cells began to be counted. -Until 1953, the American scientist came colulter who was an electrical engineer and adopted the principle of calculating blood cells by means of electrical resistance Red Blood Call (RBC) are counted through the 1- Calculating of Red voltage difference technique, as the number of Blood pulses Call that are issued from the electrical circuit is the number of RBC , with neglecting the number of WBC due to their smaller number compared to RBC. Platelets are counted through the pulses during 2- theCalculating counting of of red blood cells, as the pulses of RBC differ from the pulses of platelets due to Platelets their size. As for HGB , it is calculated by adding a lyse solution that separates HGB from RBC. Hemoglobin Blood(HGB) is calculated after 3- Calculating separation of Hemoglobin by shining a monochromatic light on HGB. On the other hand, there is a sensor through which the concentration and amount of HGB can be calculated. This technique is called photometric method of HGB. This is done by adding potassium cyanide and Photometric ferricyanide, method whose of absorbance is measured at 540HGBnm using a photoelectric colorimeter against a standard quality control solution. The HGB concentration is then determined by the result produced by the photoelectric colorimeter 4- Calculating of White Blood Cell (WBC)Blood Cell (WBC) are counted after HGB White has been separated from the blood. WBC are counted using the voltage difference technique Red Blood Hemoglobin Blood(HGB) Call Hematocrit(HCT) Red Blood Call (RBC) Mean Call Volume Mean Call (MCV) Hemoglobin Mean Celluar Hemoglobin (MCH) White Blood Lymphocytes (LYM) Cell Neutrophil (NEU) White Blood Cell (WBC) Monocytes(MONO) Eosinophil(EOS) Baceophil (BASO) Ali Razak Naeem
