The sun is the very bright stars. The sun is the center of our solar system. The sun warms Earth. Earths rotates once each day. Half of the Earth faces the sun as Earth rotates. The half of Earth that faces the sun has day. The half of Earth that faces away from the sun has night. Light from the sun travels at a fast speed. Light travels in straight lines. Light can pass through clear objects. 1029 Seasons are different kinds of weather. Some places on Earth have four seasons of the year. A microscope helps us see things we cannot see with our eyes alone. Whales are larger than other animals. A whale lives in the oceans. A whale is a mammal. Parts of the Fish: 1. Scales help keep fish safe. 2. Gills take in oxygen from the water so that the fish can live. 3. Fins helps the fish moves forward in a straight line, turn left and right, and go up and down. An oceanarium has large fish tanks. A dolphin jumps high and swim fast. A dolphin breathes through a hole in the top of its body. Have Faith! Owls live all over the world. The snowy owl lives in cold places. The penguin is a sea bird. The penguin has black and white feathers. Three main parts of insects are head, thorax, abdomen. Head is the part of the insects that carries the eyes and the antennae. The antennae are used for feeling, hearing, smelling, and tasting. Thorax is where the three pairs of legs grow. Ostrich is a bird that cannot fly but can run very fast. The part of the snake that use for smelling is tongue. Mammals is the highest form of animals.
