They are different from animals because they have complex minds and can create, learn, and understand the world around them **Person:** A person is a human being. It's someone who can think, feel, and act in their own way **Anthropology:** The science that studies the PHYSICAL aspect of human beings as it relates to culture **Culture:** A set of meanings, beliefs, values and rules for living shared by groups and societies as the source of their identity **Community:** A group of persons bound together by a sense of unity that goes beyond each of them **Solidarity:** Standing together and supporting each other, especially during tough times. It's about unity and helping one another as a group **Vocation:** A calling or purpose in life. It's what you feel meant to do, like a job, helping others, or serving God **Conscience:** Conscience is your inner voice or feeling that helps you know right from wrong. It guides you to make good choices and avoid bad ones **Original Sin:** The first sin committed by Adam and Eve in the Bible when they disobeyed God.
