**iApp Initial setup** License Activation 1. Prerequisites : iApp should be installed Database server should be installed. License Key whitelisting of CRM link. \-- crm.spectra-vision.com:3002 License and applicability In iApp different modules are there including(Attendance Management, Access Control Management, Canteen Management, Visitor Management) and Clients can purchase this modules according to their requirements. CRM Role on license activation : Once the client has purchased iApp and the invoice is generated, the admin team will enter the invoice details into the CRM and generate a license key based on the modules required by the client. The license key will then be sent to the client or support person via email. The next step is the license activation process. License Activation Process : 1. By default URL to access the iApp is 172.16.0.95/iapp/login But the license activation process can only be done from spectra panel so first we have to open spectra panel. 2. To access spectra panel we have to remove login and add mvc/spectrabaselogin in URL - 172.16.0.95/iapp/mvc/spectrabaselogin. 3. Once you enter this URL spectrapanel login page will open. 4. Username and password will be administrator when accessing spectrapanel first time. 5. Click on login  6. After login spectra panel will be displayed. 7. Here you will see various option Logout Database Parameter Surrender Re-Active 8. Click on license activation process and company registration page will be displayed The license activation process involves four major steps 9. First one is company registration  10. Enter all necessary details provided along with license key and click on next ,now it will ask to enter license key. license\_activation\_2 11. Enter license key here and click on next and system will show product activation page  =========================================== 12. click on Next button, you will see the third step that is Database creation where you need to select the Database Type license\_activation\_4 13. After selecting Database Creation type, click on Next button, where you have to enter Database Credentials to create the database along with Database Name, Tenant Name, and File path to store Database files (.mdf,.lfd files)  Below are the required privileges to create different database object : Create, Alter, Drop, Delete, Select, Insert, Update - Table, store- procedures, functions. 14. It will ask to enter database server credentials. After entering details ,click on Create button, It takes sometime so wait until you see that database is created, then click on next. license\_activation\_6 15. Spectrabase.db file will be created at file path you have entered.  16. you will see Product Activation screen with Product Key and Product Details license\_activation\_7 17. Verify all details and Click on Confirm & Activate button, you will see Welcome to iApp screen with Message as Congratulations which indicates that your iApp is activated successfully.  18. Once the license has been activated, login to the iApp now replace spectrabaselogin with login in URL then login page will open Ex : 172.16.0.95/iapp/mvc/login 18\) When you will login to iapp first time username and password will administrator by default then click on login. 19. Now it will ask to Change Password, Enter Old and new password and click on save  20. After changing password login page will open again, Now login with new password. 21. It will be redirected to the company creation page. \-- mandatory to create company.  22. Now click on save then location page will be displayed.  23. Now click on save then it will be redirected setup page. 24. Click on license summary option it will display details of the license.  License Update : When require? 1. Extending Software Expiry 2. Adding More Modules 3. Increasing Employee Numbers/Doors. How to upgrade license 1. Login to Spectrapanel, You will see new tab "Upgrade Licence" Once you click on Upgrade Licence you will see Upgrade Licence Wait screen which display for few seconds  2. After Wait you will see the Upgrade Licence screen with updated value or New Module with its details 3. To verify that your license has been updated or not, Login to iApp and check Licence Summary page from Setup module. Your Licence will be updated successfully. Surrender Option, When & Why and How to re-activate How to surrender license : 1. Open spectra panel  1. click on surrender surrender\_1 2. Tenant Name will be displayed and Enter remark and click on surrender after that it will give message that "Key surrendered successfully".  How to re-activate license : Open spectra panel and login with credentials spectrapanel\_index 1. click on re-activate  2. after that it will give message that "Key Renewed Successfully". Usage of database parameter in spectra panel 1. 2.  General setup 1. Open setup/settings then click on general setup. 2. Different options are available here.
