Dear Mom,\ \ You were once a child with dreams, hopes, and fears, and you know what it's like to think big, face challenges, and wonder about what's right and wrong. I know you've had experiences that didn't go the way you hoped, and you want to protect me from making the same mistakes. I didn't see it clearly at first, but now I understand that everything you do comes from a place of love and care.\ \ I'll admit, I've been stubborn and quick to push back, not realizing how much you're trying to guide me. I hated it at first, feeling like you were holding me back, but now I see you've been trying to give me the wisdom I need to avoid pain and disappointment. For that, I owe you an apology.\ \ I know I have a lot to learn, and I'm grateful for your patience as I grow and figure things out. Thank you for being there, even when I don't make it easy.
