Skills needed for a job Building knowledge They may not have the knowledge to do certain jobs however in their education and career they have developed certain skills that would certainly be useful in an every job and in all walks of life. Building knowledge Adaptability Adaptability is defined as our ability to adjust to new or changed conditions quickly, without experiencing stress or negative emotions. 61% of employers felt adaptability has become more important over the last ten years, and employers also consider it likely to become ‘extremely important’ in the next 10 years. Being able to take in, process and act on information that you’ve heard or been told can help to make you more effective at work.
