What is Intellectual Revolution?  Can be defined as the Historical changes in the thoughts, beliefs, and social institution due to new ideas and principles.  The innovations that transformed the society. When science and technology are the center of an intellectual revolution , we can call it Scientific revolution In the early times, people questioned what created days and nights. They wanted to understand what heavenly bodies like stars, moons, and The invention of the telescope planets are. allowed people to take a peek at the outer space, but more importantly, it also intrigued them to know what was actually out there.  Copernican revolution  Darwinian revolution  Freudian revolution Copernican Revolution CLAuDIUS PTOLEMY  Greek; famous philosopher and astronomer.  Created the “Ptolemy’s Geocentric model”. NICOLAUS COPERNICUS  Polish mathematician and astronomer.  Challenged the Ptolemaic Model.  Introduced the concept of HELIOCENTRISM CHARLES DARWIN  An English Naturalist, Biologist, and Geologist.  Author of “On the Origin of Species.” CHARLES DARWIN “Organisms has the ability to adapt to their environment and would gradually change into something that would be more competitive to survive” he stated. ON THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES C. Darwin introduced the theory of evolution.
