Peritoneal: peritoneum Inguinal: groin Renal: kidney Esophageal: esophagus Myocardial: heart muscle EXAMPLES OF ADJECTIVE SUFFIXES: -ar What are these pertaining to? Vascular: blood vessels Areolar: areola (nipple) Ampullar: ampulla - (duct opening) Appendicular: skeleton Bronchiolar: bronchioles (lungs) EXAMPLES OF ADJECTIVE SUFFIXES: -ary What do these pertain to? Axillary: axilla (armpit) Mammary: breasts Pulmonary: lungs EXAMPLES OF ADJECTIVE SUFFIXES: -ic What do these pertain to?
