- Examples of adjective suffixes:

- -ar, -ary: pertaining to a part of the body, process, or condition (e.g., vascular, pulmonary)

- Procedural suffixes describe procedures used in patient care, treatment, diagnosis, and surgical procedures.
- Examples of procedural suffixes:
