Is parsimonious: simple and straightforward. ### Principle of parsimony: Things are usually connected or behave in the simplest or most economical way. ### Occam's razor: William of Occam's principle that states that explanations should rely on as few assumptions as possible. ### Theory: A tool used to generate research and organize observations. ### Hypothesis: A proposed explanation made on the basis of limited evidence as a starting point for further investigation.
