These materials include wood, clay, stone, and fibers derived from plants such as cotton, jute, and silk. Their beauty and versatility make them highly desirable choices for artisans.** **Different types of materials used in handicraft product** ** Textiles: such as fabric, yarn, and thread** **Is an umbrella term that includes various fiber based materials , including fibers, yarns, filaments.**  ** Leather** **Leather is a strong flexible and durable material obtained from the tanning or chemical treatment of animals skin and hides to prevent decay.**  ** Wood** **is a structural tissue material found as xylem in the stems and roots of trees and other woody plants.**  ** Metal** **Is a solid material that is malleable, ductile, and conducts electricity and heat well. Metals are often shiny and have a lustrous appearance.**  ** Clay** **A type of fine grained natural soil material containing clay minerals.
