To obtain the birth rate → number of births/total population x‬ ‭1000‬ ‭-‬ ‭Fertility rate‬‭: it represents the number of live births per women aged 15-49 → it is also‬ ‭expressed in per mille (‰) To obtain the fertility rate → number of births/number of women‬ ‭between 15-49 x 1000‬ ‭-‬ ‭Average number of children per woman‬‭: this information tells us if one generation can be‬ ‭replaced by another. An average of 2,1 children per woman ensures that replacement.‬ ‭-‬ ‭Death rate‬‭: it represents the number of deaths relative to the population of a place → it is‬ ‭expressed in per mille (‰). To obtain the death rate → number of deaths/total population x‬ ‭1000‬ ‭-‬ ‭Infant mortality rate‬‭: it represents the number of babies who died before their first‬ ‭birthday, to live births in a place → it is expressed in per mille (‰).
