People from Asia migrated to North and South Continents. - လွန်ခဲ့တ့ဲ ှစေ ် ပါင်း ှစေ ် သာင်းခန်က ့ ယေနေခတ် ့ Russiaနဲ ့ Alaska ကားမှာ ဆက်ထားတဲ့ ကုန်းေြမ ှိခဲတ ့ ယ်။ - အာ ှတက ို က ် လူေတွက ေြမာက်နဲေတာင် ့ အေမရိ ကတိက ု ဆ ် ီ ကူးလာခဲ့ ကတယ်။  Native Americans Those migrated people settled as Native Americans. They established extensive tribal cultures and several advanced civilizations. - ေြပာင်းေ လာသူေတွက Native Americanေတွအြဖစ် အေြခချေနထိင ု ခ ် ဲ့ ကတယ်။ - လူမျိုးစု ယဉ်ေကျးမ ေတွ ကျယ်ကျယ်ြပန်ြပန ့ ် ့တည်ေထာင်ခဲ ့ က ပီ း တိးု တက်တ့ဲ လူအဖွ ့ ဲ အစည်းေတွ အများအြပား ှိခဲ့ ကတယ်။  Spice Trade Long before sea travel was not developed, Europeans had to buy spices from traders from the Middle East. Those traders bought spices from India and resold them in Venice, Italy with very high prices. At that time, the prices of spices were as high as the price of gold. - ပင်လယ်ေရေ ကာင်းသွားလာေရး မဖွံ ဖိ ုးခင်က ဥေရာပသားေတွက ဟင်းခတ်အေမ းအ ကိုင်ေတွကို အေ ှ အလယ်ပိုငး် က ကုန်သည်ေတွဆက ီ ေန ဝယ်ယခ ူ ဲ ့ ကရတယ်။ - ကုန်သည်ေတွက Indiaကေန ဟင်းခတ်အေမ းအ ကိုင်ေတွ ဝယ်ယ ူ ပီ း Venice မို မှာ ေဈး ကီး ကီးနဲြပန် ့ ေရာင်းချတယ်။ - ဟင်းခတ်အေမ းအ ကိုင်ေတွက ဥေရာပမှာ ေရ လို တန်ဖိုး ှိခဲ့တယ်။  Route to India After ships were developed enough to navigate the seas, Europeans countries such as Portugal, Spain, England and France looked for sea route to India. They went around Africa and eventually found India, but Columbus of Spain had a different idea. He planned to sail west to reach India via an alternative route. - သေဘင်္ာေတွ ပင်လယ်ထသ ဲ ာွ းလာ ိင ု တ ် ့ဲ အချိန်မှာေတာ့ ု း် ြပည်ေတွြဖစ်တ့ဲ Portugal, Spain, England, ဥေရာပတိင Franceက Indiaကိသ ု ာွ းတဲ့ ပင်လယ်လမ်းေ ကာင်းကို ှာေဖွခဲ ့ ကတယ်။ - ု တ်သာွ း ပီ း Indiaကိ အာဖရိ ကကိပ ု ှာေတွ ခဲ့တယ်။ စပိ န်က Columbusကေတာ့ အေနာက်ဖက်ကို သွားရင်လဲ Indiaကိေ ု ရာက် င ို တ ် ယ်လို ့ယူဆခဲ့တယ်။  Discovery of America Columbus thought the land he found was India and called the natives “Indians”. In fact it was “New World” for Europeans. Europeans later came and colonized the whole continent for valuable resources. They killed, drove away, and enslaved those native Americans. - Columbusက သူေတွ ှိခဲ့တေ ့ဲ နရာကို Indiaလိထင် ု ့ ခဲ့ ပီ း နယ်ခံေတွကို Indianေတွလပါေခါ် ို ့ ခဲ့တယ်။ တကယ်ေတာ့ ဥေရာပသားေတွအတွက် ကမ သစ်ပဲြဖစ်တယ်။ - ေနာက်ပိုငး် မှာ ဉေရာပသားေတွက တိက ု ် ကီးတစ်ခုလးံု ကို နယ်ချဲ ပီ း တန်ဖိုး ကီး သယံဇာတေတွကို ှာေဖွခဲ့ ကတယ်။ - Native Americansေတွကို သတ်ြဖတ်တာ၊ ှငထ ် တ ု တ ် ာ၊ က န်ြပုတာေတွလပ ု ် ခဲ့ ကတယ်။  Colonialism The initial purpose of exploration was to trade spices directly with India, but eventually led to colonizing countries with valuable natural resources to expand economies. England, France, Netherlands, and Spain established colonies in much of today’s United States and Canada. Their purpose was to expand power, wealth and to provide permanent residence for their colonists. - ့ လရည်ရွယ်ချက်က Indiaနဲ ့ကုန်သယ စူးစမ်းသွားလာြခင်းရဲ မူ ွ ဖ ် ိုြဖစ် ့ ေပမယ့် စီးပွားေရးချဲ ထင ွ ဖ ် ိုနဲ့ ့တန်ဖိုး ကီး သယံဇာတေတွရဖို ့နယ်ချဲ ခဲ ့ ကတယ်။ - England, France, Netherlandsနဲ ့Spainတိက ု ့ ယေနေခတ် ့ Canadaနဲ ့ USမှာ ကိလ ု န ို ီနယ်ေြမေတွ တည်ေထာင်ခဲ့ ကတယ်။ - ရည်ရွယ်ချက်က အာဏာ၊ စီးပွားေရးချဲ ထင ွ ဖ ် ိုနဲ့ ့နယ်ချဲ တ့ဲ သူတ ိ ို ့ င ု င ် သ ံ ားေတွအတွက် ေနထိင ု ရ ် ာေနရာရဖိုပဲ့ ြဖစ်တယ်။  Original 13 Colonies On the east coast of current day US, 13 colonies were founded mostly by English settlers. Those 13 colonies had different ways of life depending on their social and economic aspects. - ယေနေခတ် ့ USအေ ှ ဘက် ကမ်း ို းတန်းမှာ ကိလ ု န ို ီနယ်ေြမ ၁၃ခု တည်ေထာင်ခဲ ့ ကတယ်။ - ကိလ ု န ို ီနယ်ေြမ ၁၃ခုတစ်ခုချင်းစီမှာ လူမ ေရးနဲ ့ စီးပွားေရးလုပ်ငန်းပံုစအ ံ ေပါ် မူတည် ပီ း ကွြဲ ပားတဲ့ ေနထိင ု မ ် ပံုစေ ံ တွ ိှခဲ့ ကတယ်။  New England Colonies New England colonies includes present day New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut. It was founded by English Pilgrims who wanted religious freedom. The pilgrims didn’t intend to come to this region: actually, their ship, Mayflower was on wrong course and landed in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Main economic activities are fishing, whaling, and shipbuilding as the cold weather didn’t support agriculture. - New England Coloniesမှာ ယေနေခတ် ့ New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Islandနဲ ့Connecticutတို ပါဝင် ့ တယ်။ - ဘာသာေရးလွတလ ု ျင်တ့ဲ Englishလူမျိုးေတွက တည်ေထာင်ခဲ့တာြဖစ်တယ်။ သူတ ို အေြခချချင် ် ပ် ခွင ့် လိခ ့ ခဲ့တေ ့ဲ နရာမဟုတခ ် ဲ့ပါဘူး။ ို ့ Mayflowerသေဘင်္ သူတရဲ ့ ာ လမ်းေ ကာင်းမှား ပီ း Massachusettsြပည်နယ်၊ Plymouthကို ေရာက်လာတာြဖစ်တယ်။ - အဓိကစီးပွားေရးလုပ်ငန်းေတွကေတာ့ ငါးဖမ်းြခင်း၊ ေဝလငါးဖမ်းြခင်းနဲ ့သေဘင်္ာတည်ေဆာက်ြခင်းတိြဖစ် ု ့ တယ်။ ရာသီဥတုေအးလို ့ စိက ု ပ ် ျိုးေရးလုပ်မရဘူး။  Middle Colonies Middle colonies includes present day New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Different nationalities such as French, Irish, German, Italian, and English settled in these states. Main economic activities are industrial works and growing staple crops such as wheat. - Middle Coloniesမှာ ယေနေခတ် ့ New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvaniaနဲ ့Delawareတို ပါဝင် ့ တယ်။ - French, Irish, German, Italianနဲ ့Englishလူမျိုးေပါင်းစံု အေြခချခဲ့ ကတယ်။ - အဓိကစီးပွားေရးလုပ်ငန်းေတွကေတာ့ စက်မ လပ ု ် ငန်းေတွနဲ ့ဂျံုစတဲ့ ေကာက်ပဲသးီ ှေ ံ တွစက ုိ ် ကတယ်။  Southern Colonies Southern colonies includes present day Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Maryland. Due to the rich fertile land and good weather, cash crops such as tobacco, rice, and cotton were grown. - Southern Coloniesမှာ ယေနေခတ် ့ Virginia, Those crops were planted in plantations and a lot of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, labors were required. and Maryland တို ပါဝင် ့ တယ်။ - ေြမဆီလာ ေရာ ရာသီဥတုပါေကာင်းတာေ ကာင ့် တန်ဖိုး ကီးအရာေတွြဖစ်တ့ဲ ေဆးရွ က် ကီး၊ ဆန်နဲ ့ ဝါဂွမ်းေတွ စိက ု ် ကတယ်။ - စိက ု ခ ် င်း ကီးေတွနဲ ့စိက ု ခ ် ဲ့ရ ပီ း အလုပ်သမားများစွာ လိအ ု ပ် ခဲ့တယ်။  Indentured Servants As the cost of travel to American colonies from England was very high, poor people who wanted better lives had to borrow money from the rich colonists in exchange for their labor. They are known as indentured servants and usually had to work for 4 years as servants. They could also be sold to other rich people as slaves. - USကိလ ု ာရတဲ့ သေဘင်္ာစရိ တက ် အရမ်းများတဲအ ့ တွက် ပိုေကာင်းတဲဘ ့ ဝေတွရဖို ့ဆင်းရဲ တြ့ဲ ပည်သေ ူ တွက သူတလု ို ့ ပ်အားနဲ ့ လူချမ်းသာေတွဆက ီ ေန ေငွေချးခဲ ့ ကတယ်။ - Indentured servantsလိေခါ် ု့ ပီ း အေစခံေတွအေနနဲ ့ ၄ ှစလ ် ပ ု ် ခဲ့ ကရတယ်။ အြခားသူေဌးေတွကို ေရာင်းတာလဲခံရတယ်။  African Slaves Later more labors were needed and Africans were brought to US colonies as slaves against their wills. They were not treated as human beings and had to work as slaves under their owners for the rest of their lives. Many years later, US Civil War was caused based on abolition of slavery. - ေနာက်ပိုငး် မှာ အလုပ်သမားေတွ ပိုလလ ို ာတဲအ ့ တွက် အာဖရိကလူမျိုးေတွကုိ ဖမ်းဆီးေခါ်ေဆာင်လာခဲ ့ ကတယ်။ - လူလေ ို တာင် ဆက်ဆမ ံ ခံရပဲ ေသတဲအ ့ ထိ က န်ပိုင ် ှ ငေ ် တွဆမ ီ ှာ အလုပ်လပ ု ် ခဲ့ ကရတယ်။ - ေနာက်ပိုငး် မှာ က န်ေတွကစ ိ ေ ကာငပ ့် ဲ ြပည်တင ွ း် စစ်ြဖစ်ပွါးခဲ့တယ်။  Convicts English courts also sent convicts to US colonies to reduce the prisoner population in England. As slaves, the unskilled convicts had to work in plantations whereas the skilled ones worked as tradesmen. After their sentence is finished, some went back to England and some stayed and tried to blend in with the colonists. - Englandရဲ အကျဉ်းသားဦးေရ ့ ေလ ာခ က် Usဆီကို ့ ျဖိုအတွ ့ နယ် င ှ ခ ် ဲ့ ကတယ်။ - မက မ်းကျင်သေ ူ တွက စိက ု ခ ် င်းေတွမှာ လုပ်ခဲရ ့ ပီ း က မ်းကျင်သေ ူ တွက သက်ဆင ုိ ရ ် ာနယ်ပယ်ေတွမှာ က န်ေတွလုိ အလုပ်လပ ု ် ခဲ့ ကရတယ်။ - လွတရ ် က်ေရာက်တသ ူ ချို က Englandြပန်ခဲ့ ပီ း အချို USမှာက ေနခဲ့ ပီ း ့ဲ တ အေြခချေနထိင ု ခ ် ဲ့တယ်။  Indentured Servants vs. African Slaves vs. Convicts Indentured Servants African Slaves Convicts Who?
