MANAGEMENT FIEDLER’S CONTINGENCY THEORY Fiedler developed his theory based on the Least Preferred Coworker (LPC) scale. The scale asks one to describe the coworker you least prefer to work with. The more positively one rates his/her least preferred coworker on a variety of different criteria, the more relationship-oriented one is. The less favorably one rates them on the same criteria, the more task-oriented one is. TRANSACTIONAL VS.
