Originated in Bronx, New York Popular with African-American and Puerto-Ricans. Michael Jackson was credited with bringing street dance to mainstream media. Popping and Locking started in the early 1970's funk era in California, USA. Breaking or Bboying started in Bronx, New York in the late 1970's. Krumping was created by two dancers in South Central, Los Angeles, during theearly 2000s. HIP HOP Hip-hop dance began during the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, originally inspired by the movements of African dancing, and it is a part of street dance Juste Debout is the name of famous dance battle event that takes place in France.
