The Main 7 Elements of Design The Main 7 Elements of Perfect Design The Elements of Good Graphic Design are the components or parts of a work of art or design. More simply put, they are the ingredients of art. Take one part color, a pinch of texture, and a whole lot of shape and the result will be some well designed graphic design....... Recipes may vary, but all works of art and design contain a combination of the following seven elements shown in last infographic : 1. Line 5. Shape 2. Colour 6. Space 3. Texture 7. Value of light & shade 4. Size Description : Line : Lines, in graphic design, can be used for a wide range of purposes : it draw the main Features of shapes or forms , Characters & figures.... it also can express about any word or phrase visually.... it connecting & joining the elements of contents with each other, & creating patterns and more. Colour : Colour is used to generate emotions, define importance, create visual interest and unify branding , or warning from something with colored focus on it in design ,, or attention.. In General : to make our design : more riche , more clear , more attractiv. The Importance of Line : The Importance of Colors : Texture : Texture relates to the surface of an object. Using texture in graphic design adds depth and visual interest. This can be applied graphically in the form of pattern or through the choice of printable surface. Size : In graphic design, size is used to convey importance, attract attention and create contrast. & to keep the real measuring for different levels in depth of Geometric perspective , to appear agood vision for the Elements & forms in design. The Importance of Texture : The Importance of Size : Shape : The three basic shape types are Geometric 1- Geometric : (Circles, Squares, Triangles etc.) 2- Natural : ( leaves, trees, Roses, Animal , Birds ,people etc) 3-Abstract : ( Icons, stylisations , Logos and graphic representations). Use carefully to create a visually pleasing design and eye-catching design. Space : A vital part of any good graphic design, Space is the area around the elements in a design. It can be used to separate or group information. Use it effectively to give the eye a rest, define importance and lead the eye to where you want it to travel.. The Importance of Shape : The basic Types of Shape : 1- Geometric : (Circles, Squares, Triangles etc.) 3-Abstract : ( Icons, stylisations , Logos and graphic ) 2- Natural : ( leaves, trees, Roses, Animal , Birds ,people etc) The Importance of Space : 1-Good using for space in designs 2-Bad using for space in designs The Importance of Space at design of Decoration : 1-Good using for space in decoration 2- Good using for space in artworks designs which hanging in interior places Value of light & shade : Value of light & shade : is how light or dark an area looks in a design. It is everything from the darkest of blacks through to the brightest of whites. Used correctly it will create depth, contrast and emphasis & the important of all that ,, it build the forming of elements in design as a Stereophonic prominent.
