Science is the method by which humans study and comprehend the world. Through observations and experiments, they apply creativity and critical thinking to understand how the world functions. The collected body of knowledge that humans study and share with one another is the product of these observations and experiments. SCIENCE IS A BODY OF KNOWLEDGE Science is as old as time → No one knows where and when science started Humans began engaging in scientific investigations to learn about and understand the world around them. SCIENTIFIC METHOD OBSERVATION → EXPERIMENTATIONS → CONCLUSION What? Analysis Why? How?  TECHNOLOGY A human attempt to change the world. Technology, often known as the alteration and control of the human environment, is the application of scientific knowledge to the objectives of everyday life. It is a vast and ever- evolving field that touches on many facets of daily life as well as different sectors.  POSITIVE IMPACTS OF TECHNOLOGY 1. HEALTH → Extending life expectancy, diagnosing diseases, and saving lives  POSITIVE IMPACTS OF TECHNOLOGY 2. EDUCATION → Distance learning and virtual learning environments have made programs accessible to students  POSITIVE IMPACTS OF TECHNOLOGY 3. COMMUNICATION → Social media, messaging applications, and video conversations have completely changed the way we interact  POSITIVE IMPACTS OF TECHNOLOGY 4. ECONOMICS → Stimulated innovation and entrepreneurship, opened up new markets for business, and produced new sectors and job employment  POSITIVE IMPACTS OF TECHNOLOGY 5. INFORMATION ACCESS → People may now learn and remain updated on a wide range of issues more easily NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF TECHNOLOGY 1.
