PART 1 → ENTERING BASIC DETAILS UNDER JOB INFO 1. So they are splitting your screen, open Right Angle and the opportunity in SalesForce 2. In Right Angle, click on “New Job” in the top right corner 3. Copy and paste the following: ◦ Copy from SF: Customer Name (First Name Last Name) → Paste in Right Angle: Client Name eld ◦ Copy from SF: Project Address → Paste in Right Angle: Street Address eld 4. Click on “Services Requested” and then select the following 3 lines: ◦ Structural Roof Letter ◦ CAD Stamp (Structural) ◦ CAD Design 5. To ll out the Job Notes, refer to CAD Best Practices and follow for what to copy and paste for each project IMPORTANT REMINDERS ◦ If a Fuse Size is not listed in our Electrical Notes → we will add it to the end of said notes in the Job Notes ▪ To calculate the fuse size, use the number of inverters in Products (SF) and input that number into our “Fuse Size Calulator” on the second sheet of our Graph + Calculators numbers doc ▪ Be sure to add an additional inverter if there are odd arrays. To check this, you can count the panels and inverters on the house. There is 1 inverter per 2 panels. If we have 2 odd arrays, we will add 1 additional inverter. If we have more than 2, be sure to count the number of inverters needed ◦ If the Utility Company is Xcel Energy (MN) → You will need the Xcel Case Number and the Xcel Program Type ◦ To nd these, go into the opp in SF and click on Permit Approvals under the Related List Quick Links at the top of the opp ◦ Click on “Xcel Utility Approval” and then scroll down. The “Utility Application ID” listed is the Xcel Case Number, and “Xcel Program Type” listed is the Xcel Program Type fi fi fi fi 6. Click “Upload Job Files” and then open your computer downloads. Highlight the les you downloaded, and drop them into the grey box that says “Drop Files Here” ◦ The correct Aurora Design screenshot ◦ Design Measurements & Pitch ◦ Site Photos ◦ Firelane Setbacks (MN + NE or if applicable to AHJ) 7. Click “Upload Files” at the bottom 8. Click “Next Step” PART 2 → ENTERING CAD INFO 1. Structural Equipment Box → Necessary elds to ll out👇 Roof Material ▪ Copy and paste from SF “Roof Material Type” eld Attachment Type ▪ If Asphalt Shingles is the roof material: Attachment type should read “IronRidge - Halo Ultragrip” ▪ If Roof Material is anything else, refer to Roof Types + Attachments Structural Racking Type ▪ Default should be “IronRidge XR10” ▪ If Roof Material is anything else, refer to Roof Types + Attachments Roof Pitch Number of Arrays ▪ Reference the Aurora Design screenshot or the project in Aurora to count the number of arrays Beam Size ▪ Rafter Dimension from SF Beam Spacing fi fi fi fi ▪ Rafter Spacing from SF ▪ Can be input in inches and Right Angle will adjust it to feet automatically 3. Electrical Equipment Box → Necessary elds to ll out👇 Module Make & Model ◦ Current default: Longi Solar LR5-54HABB-395M ◦ Be sure to check the panel type matches SF Products and the P&I in SF Files ▪ If panels in SF are different, update this eld in Right Angle to match Module Count ▪ Double check SF Products and the P&I in SF Files ▪ Then type in the correct number of panels Inverter Make & Model ▪ Current default: AP Systems DS3-S ▪ Be sure to check the inverter type matches SF Products and the P&I in SF Files ▪ If inverters in SF are different, update this eld in Right Angle to match Inverter Count ▪ Double check SF Products and the P&I in SF Files ▪ Then type in the correct number of inverters ▪ IF THE HOUSE HAS ODD ARRAYS → ▪ Be sure to add additional inverter(s) for odd arrays ▪ Refer to Part 1, Step 5 for how to count inverters and a visual ▪ In SF, set a task for yourself to “Set Inverter Discrepancy Task once CAD is back” 4. Click “Submit Job” fi fi fi fi PART 3 → FINISHING CAD REQUEST PROCESS IN SF 1. Now that the CAD is submitted, at the top of the page in Right Angle, copy the URL 2. Then go into the opportunity in SF 3. At the bottom, under Electrical/Exterior/Attic, click edit for the “Go Solo CAD URL” and paste in the Right Angle URL 4. Click edit for the “CAD Requested Date” and select the date the CAD was requested 5. If an additional inverter was requested, be sure to set yourself the task from above 6. You’re done 🎉
