Muslims pray five times every day, give zakat on their wealth, observe fasting during the month of Ramadan, and perform Hajj in Mecca. Allah loves Muslims, and He will grant them paradise. They are not meant to live like animals; instead, their lives require order and etiquette. The One who created everything, Allah, has established rules and laws for human life. These rules were conveyed through written scriptures known as Kutub (books), which Allah revealed to humanity through His messengers, the prophets. There are four Kutub (books): - Tawrat (Torah) - Zabur (Psalms) - Injeel (Gospel) - Qur’an The prophets who received these books: - Musa (Moses) - Dawud (David) - Isa (Jesus) - Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) The Qur'an Sharif is our book. It should not be touched without wudu (ablution). The day when this world is destroyed is called the Day of Qiyamah (Judgment Day). The angel Israfil will blow the trumpet for the first time, and that is when the world will be destroyed. When he blows it a second time, all the dead will be resurrected and gathered together by Allah for judgment in the field of Mahshar. Those who did good deeds in this world will be admitted by Allah into Paradise, where they will enjoy eternal bliss. We will study a few names in the upcoming classes. 32 Chapter -10 Angels The angels are a particular creature sent down by Allah from the light; they are always in allegiance to Allah; they do not eat, drink, sleep, or become tired, as mortals do, but only Allah knows their number.
