Metal Age: The Metal Age is divided into the Copper, Bronze, and Iron Ages, marked by the evolution of metal use, lifestyle changes, and societal transformations. Copper Age: This era served as a transition between the Neolithic and Bronze Ages, where soft copper was used mainly for small tools and ornaments. Metallurgy, the process of melting metal to create new products, was discovered during this time. Bronze Age: Humans learned that mixing tin with copper creates harder bronze, leading to advancements in weaponry and tools. The need for tin led to trade expansion and the establishment of trade routes and taxes. Iron Age: The Hittites were among the first to use iron, which became common in weapon production by the Middle Ages. Due to its strength and abundance, iron became widely popular and transformed societies globally.
