SAMPLE ATP 35 MM AMMO GENERAL CONDITIONS ▪The Customer may appoint an Acceptance Commission to carry out the acceptance al the Supplier's factory. ▪The Supplier must inform the Customer, in writing, that the items are ready for acceptance. ▪The Acceptance Commission is obliged to carry out the test within the time specified for the acceptance. ▪The members of the Acceptance Commission are obliged to comply with the Supplier's safety regulations. ▪If the Customer states explicitly that he does not wish to attend the acceptance, or if the Acceptance Commission fails to present itself at the appointed time, then the internal acceptance test or production inspection, carried out by the Supplier's inspection department, are binding. ▪The Acceptance Commission is obliged to carry out only the tests specified herein. SAMPLE ATP 35 MM AMMO DUTIES OF THE SUPPLIER ▪To present only items when have passed inspection according to the manufacturing specifications. ▪To present, on request by the Acceptance Commission, all records relating to the acceptance tests. ▪The Supplier shall provide the Acceptance Commission with following:- ▪A Representative (Acceptance Official) to organize and direct the acceptance in conjunction with the Acceptance Commission. ▪The necessary personnel to carry out the acceptance. ▪A room or area suitable for carrying out acceptance operations for the specified acceptance period. ▪The test equipment, gauges, measuring instruments, and acceptance drawings necessary for carrying out the acceptance. SAMPLE ATP 35 MM AMMO MODIFICATIONS During production the Supplier is entitled to incorporate modifications provided none of the specification criteria’s are affected. Where, as result, delays in delivery or changes in Acceptance-Specification may be expected, the Customer's consent must be obtained. DIVISION INTO LOTS Serial lot The lot size is stipulated in the contract. Normally a serial lot comprises 10,000 items, plus the quantity required for the acceptance tests. For a lot size between 3'201 and 10,000 rounds the same test schedule is applicable. If it is less than 3'201 rounds the test can be reduced accordingly. A lot must only contain items which have been produced under the same conditions and in an uninterrupted, chronological sequence. The lot must be uniform in respect to the components listed in the Data Sheet. SAMPLE ATP 35 MM AMMO CARRYING OUT THE ACCEPTANCE Random samples for acceptance tests Random samples are to be taken from each lot in accordance with the test schedule and are to be tested and assessed for compliance with requirements stated in the Acceptance-Specification. Quality Assurance The Acceptance Commission is entitled to satisfy itself with regard to the quality assurance measures taken and recorded in the works-certificates by the Supplier. Confirmation of components used A signed list of components used is to be passed to the Acceptance Commission before commencing the acceptance. Test Certification Compliance with the technical requirements stated in these acceptance specification is to be verified by the Supplier issuing certificates to the Customer containing the results of the tests carried out. A copy of these certificates is to be passed to the Acceptance Commission. SAMPLE ATP 35 MM AMMO Defect classification Where defects other than those listed arise during acceptance, the Acceptance Commission is to assess these defects relative to any potential hazard which may result and to make a proposal for supplementing the defect classification. Firing tests Defects arising during firing tests which are clearly attributable to the weapon are to be ignored. In this case the weapon is to be made serviceable or has to be replaced and a retest is to be conducted. For all firing tests the rounds are to be conditioned for at least 12 hours at the required temperature. Final sentencing If a lot does not conform to the Acceptance Specification it is to be rejected to the Supplier. Any subsequent action must finally be agreed by the Acceptance Commission.
