Questions you should be asking yourself: - Eight paragraphs…okay so like six body paragraphs? At least six body paragraphs? Ok so how many facts would that be…like 15 to 20? At least 15-20 facts. - Ok so three sources required…so that means, like, 5-7 facts from each source, got it. - Woah I am so scared this is so much I am AFRAID HELP ME. Don’t worry, we got this, you are so money and you don’t even know it. We will take things one step at a time. Some things to keep in mind: - Remember: You are to take the facts, look at them from each and every angle, and discover what they tell you about the topic. Your thesis statement should reflect your own thinking and utilize the particular information you discover from the chosen facts. - Please recall that the intelligent historian may use a single fact to support multiple conclusions. (1) Assignment five, due Thursday, 1/9 (10 points): Choose your next source and share it with me in a proper citation. For full credit, the document you share with me should include both your source citation from before break and the source due today. 9s Expository II Assignment Part 2 (2) Assignment six, due 1/17 (35 points): Pulled quotes and annotations for your new source. For full credit, the document you share with me should include both your quotes and annotations from before break and the work you did due today. (5) Assignment nine, due 2/3 (20 points): Organize your facts into three body paragraphs. We have done this so many times in class, but you know what big shot? I love teaching you and doing this so if you don’t understand, we’ll do it again. (6) Assignment ten, due 2/11 (50 points): Outline time. This is not a poem (or is it a poem?) it is super logic, super organized, everything in its place. (7) Assignment eleven, due 2/20 (50 points): First draft. I will give you comments if you ask for them, but if I do and you do not incorporate them into your final draft, you will lose points. (8) Assignment twelve, due 2/28 (50 points): Final draft. Goodness you’ve learned so many things and thought so deeply about this subject.
