# Define the following terms. 1. Reactants: What you start with in a reaction 2. Products: What you end with in a reaction 3. Skeleton Equation: Uses chemical formulas to show a chemical reaction. 4. Coefficients: Whole numbers written in front of product or reactant to balance equation 5. Solute: What is dissolved 6. Solvent: What something is dissolved in 7. Aqueous: Dissolved in water. 8. Precipitate: Solid that falls out of solution 9. Ionization: Molecular compounds forming ions when dissolved 10. Dissociation: Ionic compounds separating into ions when dissolved 11. Complete Ionic Equation: Shows all the particles in a solution as the exist 12. Net Ionic Equation: Ionic equation that only includes the particles that participate in the reaction 13. Spectator Ions: Ions that exist as both reactants and products but do not participate in the reaction 14. Overall Equation: Combine two reactions & represents them as one.
