SHERIFF’S POLICY MANUAL 3.13 PROMOTION: A. Employees promoted to a higher classification will be increased to the minimum pay rate of the higher classification. B. Employees at or above the higher classification's minimum step will be increased to the step closest to 5% within the range. C.
