- Climbed Everest with his father, Paul Romero, stepmother Karen Lundgren, and three Sherpas (guides).
- Part of a larger ambition to climb the tallest mountain on each continent (Seven Summits).
- Completed the Seven Summits when he was 15 years, 5 months, and 12 days old.
- This made him the youngest person to achieve this feat.
Samantha Kinghorn
- Sixteen years old, from Scotland, UK
- In December 2010, injured her back in a snow incident at her family farm.
- Became a wheelchair user, and later discovered a talent for wheelchair racing.
- Trained six times a week, and became extremely fit and fast.
- Won the Great Scottish Run 10km wheelchair race in September 2012.
