Corporate Storytelling for Employee Engagement Quiz

The text reviews the theoretical literature on storytelling corporate to assess if it can be a valuable strategy for public relations (PR) to increase employee engagement and to identify ways storytelling can improve employee loyalty within the corporation, ultimately strengthening its reputation internally and externally.

The review includes an integrated review of contemporary and theory-based texts on storytelling by academics and leaders in the industry related to the benefits of using corporate stories; corporate storytelling and employee engagement; employee engagement and improved reputation; the connection between improved reputation and external visibility; the benefits of storytelling strategies for RSE; and the limitations of corporate storytelling.

Many contemporary theorists endorse storytelling as a valuable means to involve employees and improve reputation. However, both academic research and industry seem to be limited in recognizing a link between improved reputation and strengthened RSC.
