  • When a youth enters a station or makes contact with a company in the field seeking help, the Company Officer will attempt to identify the problem and will notify the Communications Center of the situation.
  • The Communications Center will place the company out-of-service and provide the incident a NFIRS number and create a Safe Place incident.
  • The Company Officer will provide the NCFC volunteer with all information provided by the youth, and the youth is to be informed what is happening and the Company Officer will release the youth to the custody of the NCFC volunteer/ employee.
  • Upon completion of the incident, the Communications Center should be notified so that incident times can be recorded.
