The cover letter should be concise, ideally not exceeding one page, and should be written in a formal tone.
When sending a cover letter and curriculum vitae via email, one should use a professional email address, fill in the subject field, and adapt the text to the specific job offer or company.
It's recommended to save the curriculum vitae in PDF format to ensure it doesn't get distorted by different programs.
The file name should include one's name and the abbreviation "CV".
One can also include a link to an online curriculum vitae or video curriculum vitae.
The email should conclude with one's personal contact information, including email, phone number, LinkedIn profile, and other professional social media handles.
