Vasile Alecsandri: Poezia Românească din Secolul al XIX-lea

Vasile Alecsandri was one of Romania's most renowned poets during his time, born in Iași in 1821. He is best known for his poem 'Miorița', which has continued to be recited by children throughout Romania, a sign of its popularity.
