    • A $25 fine will be imposed on contestants who do not inform the secretary of the situation
    • In case of cattle change, due to setup, kicking, ducking back, etc. or old cattle, two members will go with the Director of said event as a witness to tell the Producer to take out or replace one or more head of stock
    • If this is not done as proposed, the Producer will be fined no less than $50
    • Stock belongs to the contestant once they called for it
    • A minimum of 3 head of steer/calves will be penned when bringing cattle back
    • The Barrier Judge will ensure no one stands close enough to the barrier or equipment to tamper with it
    • Any judge failing to comply with these instructions will be declared ineligible
    • The individual pushing the cattle in the timed events cannot leave the mouth of the chute until the animal has crossed the score line
    • Failure to comply with this rule will result in a $25 fine charged to the contestant
    • Helpers cannot aid or restrain a horse in the box during competition, this will result in disqualification

    Disqualifications

    • A contestant turning out the stock will be disqualified in all events for the remainder of that rodeo
    • If stock is mounted, roped, or wrestled at the contestant’s expense, they can compete on future stock at that rodeo, except in case of injury
    • Any member tampering with competition livestock will be disqualified at that particular rodeo
    • No contestant may be disqualified from a sanctioned rodeo for any altercation or charge of rowdyism taking place anywhere outside the rodeo grounds
    • Contestants may be disqualified for the following offenses within the rodeo grounds:
      • Hang up fine if a contestant has to use it, no re-rides will be given due to failure of these devices
    • Contestants accept the arena conditions when they nod their head or come running
    • All Judge Decisions will be final

    Saddle Bronc Riding

    • Measurements for the saddle:
      • Riggins: 3⁄4 inch with the front of the D-ring no further toward the cantle than the rear of the swells
      • Cantle: No more than 5 inches tall from the jockey to the highest point
      • Swells: No more than 14 inches wide or undercut more than 1 inch either side
      • Stirrups: Hung on bars, not less than 14 inches long, no freaks, leather latigo straps only.
    • Saddle Bronc Riding must be done with a plain halter, one rein and saddle
    • Standard halter and “association” committee saddles must be used
    • If a contestant fails to comply with this rule, they will be disqualified
    • The rider needs to furnish their own equipment
    • The riding rein and hand must be on the same side
    • Horses will be saddled in the chute
    • The rider can cinch their own saddle or examine it to determine if it is satisfactory
    • The rein must be attached to the halter
    • The rider must have spurs over the break of the horse’s shoulders and touch the horse with them when the horse’s front feet touch the ground on the 1st step/jump out of the chute
    • Horses are to be ridden for eight seconds
    • The time starts when the inside shoulder breaks the plane of the bucking chute
    • The rider will get a free roll if the horse backs out of the chute or turns around
    • The rider has the right to call on the Judges to pass on whether or not a horse is properly flanked and saddled to buck its best
    • The middle flank belongs to the rider, however, it cannot be cinched any further on the horse than straight up and down
    • The horse will not be hot shot until it has been completely turned out of the chute, unless the rider agrees
    • The rider must tell the flank man and 1 Judge if they want a hot shot, however, if the horse fails to buck, no re-ride will be given
    • There will be no ground money paid
    • If only 1 qualified ride, that contestant will receive all the money for that event, points will count for all money paid
    • If no qualified rides, the stock producer will receive all the money
    • The rein belongs to the stock contractor
    • If the horse stalls coming out of the chute, either Judge can tell the rider to take their feet out of the horse and spur the horse in the belly
    • The first jump qualification will be waived
    • The Judge’s discretion will be used
    • Dry Rosin only may be used on the saddle and chaps, no foreign substances are allowed
    • The horse belongs to the rider, when the rider mounts
