    Union Time Utilization

    • The Union President or designee will report the utilization of union time pool hours to the Bureau of Human Resources Director or designee.

    Union Leave Time Pool

    • IUPA members will donate two hours of annual/holiday leave time accruals to the IUPA union leave time pool bank starting from the first full pay period after October 1, 2021, and October 1, 2022.
    • Starting from the first full pay period after October 1, 2023, each IUPA member will donate three hours of annual/holiday leave time accruals to the IUPA union leave time pool bank whenever the bank is reduced to 750 hours or less.
    • IUPA bargaining unit members can voluntarily donate up to an additional eight hours of annual/holiday leave time accruals in hourly increments to the IUPA union leave time pool bank.

    Post-Retirement Health Insurance Benefit

    • Each bargaining unit member who qualifies for retirement under normal retirement as defined by Florida Retirement System (FRS) will receive a post-retirement health insurance benefit equal to active duty members.
