What is organisational design?

The process of aligning the structure of a business with its aims and objectives, in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

What is Authority?

The power of a person to use and allocate resources in order to achieve business objectives. For example, for sole traders this will be the individual running the business.

What is Responsibility?

The duty or obligation to perform and complete a task to the required standard. For example, a worker may have to complete a specific number of actions in a car production line per hour.

What is a hierarchy of a business?
