Parking at TFS Workplaces
- Parking private vehicles at TFS workplaces is a privilege, not a right, extended to on-duty personnel
- TFS is not responsible for theft or property damage to personal vehicles parked on its property
- Members assume all risks associated with parking personal vehicles on TFS property
Restrictions on Parking
- Vehicles with commercial signage are not permitted to park at fire stations
- Vehicles with commercial or construction equipment visible are not permitted to park at fire stations
- Trucks with a load capacity over one tonne are not permitted to park at fire stations
- Vehicles designed for purposes other than transporting private individuals are not permitted to park at fire stations
- Private vehicles are not permitted to park inside a TFS facility without approval from the on-duty District Chief
Valuables at Fire Scenes
- Valuables found at a fire scene should be turned over to the Officer in charge or Incident Commander
- Valuables will be given to a police officer on the scene for safekeeping

Uniforms

Protective Clothing
- All members must wear and use the supplied safety equipment while working in and around TFS workplaces
- Operations members must have possession of a full complement of personal fire protection equipment prior to relieving another member of staff, including:
- Fire Helmet and Face Visor
- Bunker Suit
- Firefighting Boots
- Firefighting Gloves
- Flash Hood
- Personal facepiece
- PIT’s and Magtags for use with entry control and accountability
- No member of the Operations Division is to relieve another member of staff without possessing all required equipment
