The Rizal Monument
- Located at the Luneta Park in Manila, considered the leading historical shrine in the country
- A memorial to Dr. Jose Rizal, the country's national hero
- Remains of the national hero are interred at the shrine
Description of the Monument
- Standing bronze sculpture of Rizal
- Obelisk made of unpolished granite set on a stone base
- Designed by Richard Kissling, a French artist
- Original title was "Motto Stella" which means "guiding star" in Latin
