Assessed by measuring the percentage of oxygen saturation in blood using pulse oximetry.

The medulla oblongata and pons regions of the brainstem.

Age, environment, lifestyle, and overall health status.

Inspection, auscultation, and palpation.

Rales, rhonchi, wheezing, stridor, and friction rub.

To keep the airway open, clear secretions, provide an airway, oxygenate tissues, and improve cardiopulmonary functions.

Nebulizer, hydration, humidification/moistening, and postural drainage.

To prevent wounds and clean secretions in the mouth.

Aspiration, tracheostomy, cough exercises and using airway adjuncts.

Adult: 100-120 mmHg, Children: 50-100 mmHg, Newborn: 40-60 mmHg

Maximum of 3 times, each for 15 seconds, with 20-30 seconds between each attempt.

Slowed respiratory rate, decreased breathing, increased CO2 levels, decreased activity, unconsciousness, and alveolar collapse.
