- The primary purpose is to prescreen applicants through information on contact, employment, education, and references.
Work Immersion Guidelines
- The immersion program aims to appreciate learned principles, enhance skills, enrich communication, and develop a good work attitude.
- Parental consent is required and schools may partner with institutions accredited by a government agency.
- A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for work immersion should include creation of working group, access and use of facilities, supervisor provisions, assurance, a list of activities, partner orientation, and insurance.
- DepEd will collaborate with partners to ensure safe learning venues with a maximum of 40 hours per week, no more than eight hours per day for children below 18 (but over 15).
- Travel expenses will be charged to MOOE, and immersion venue expenses of the partner institution are not allowed.
- Schools and students will not be asked to pay partner institutions unless parents are consulted.
- The partnership is governed by existing laws and DepEd Issuances.

Memorandum of Agreement for Work Immersion Partnership
- Entered on September 27, 2024, between Dalaguete National High School (DNHS) and INK SPACE.
- DNHS represented by Principal Dr. Roldan C. Rosales. INK SPACE represented by Owner Ma. Theressa Q. Paulin.
- DepEd’s mandate is to implement policies, plans, and programs of formal and non-formal basic education.
- DepEd introduced the K to 12 program, including Senior High School (SHS), to ensure graduates are ready for employment, entrepreneurship, and higher learning.
- The SHS curriculum considers local needs and the job market.
- Effective SHS instruction requires school-industry partnerships for expertise and practical training.
- The school believes in creating a positive community impact and providing a safe learning environment.
- The school and the establishment ("the PARTIES") agree to collaborate, keeping in mind child protection and learner interests.
Description of Work Immerson Program
- The DepEd was tasked to implement the programme by using Enhanced Basic Education Act 2013/Repuplic ARt 10553.
- With this premnise, DepEd offers stakeholders the opportunity to participate with the party.
- A shs Student has to work for a buisness related to the job specialization as graduation requirement.

Objectives of Work Immerson Partnerships
- Supplement the formal curriculum with inputs from ESTABLISHMENT experts aligning the program to work standards.
- Develop knowledge and skills relevant to job market needs.
- Provide relevant learning experiences in a workplace setting.
- Form a Work Immersion Partnership between the school and the establishment to allow access to their workplace and equipment.
Responsibilities of Parties in the agreement
- Create a action plan and workgroup to operationalize the partnership.
- Form a steering committee to monitor the MOA provisions.
- Adhere to child protection laws and rules set out within guidelines of Work Immersion.
- Develop student’s Immersion module based on goals, specified outcomes to achieve to gain as a student.

Responsibilities of the School
- Identify the SHS track/s which will be the subject of the partnership

- Provides Insurance of the students throughout the Work Immerson Program.
