Nation

  • A nation involves a group of people with a shared sense of identity, culture, or history.
  • Nations are socially constructed, determined by people, not nature.
  • A nation's existence, definition, and membership can evolve.
  • Nations can be perceived as "imagined communities" connected by religion, ethnicity, language, or cultural practices.
