- Mestizo de Espanol: Spanish and Malay mix.
- Mestizo de Bombay: Indian and native Austronesian mix.
- Mestizo de Sangley: Chinese and Malay mix.
- Tornatras: Spanish, Malay, and Chinese mix.
Sangley: Full-blooded Chinese.
Indio: Pure Filipinos.
Negrito: Aetas.

In 1767, King Carlos III of Spain expelled the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) from Spain and its colonies.
