Definitions
- ARP: Advance reservation period
- Authorized agent: Person authorized by the railway administration.
- Clerkage Charge: Fee by railway administration for clerical work in fare refund.
- Confirmed ticket: Ticket guaranteeing a seat or berth.
- Destination Station: Station where the ticket is issued for.
- Fare: Base fare + supplementary charges + reservation fee + miscellaneous fees.
- RAC Ticket: Seat reserved based on requisition for a berth.
- Reserved ticket: Ticket with guaranteed seat or berth.
- Reservation fee: Fee for reserving a seat or berth.
- Station: Place where traffic (booking/reservation) is handled.

Ticket Types
