Special Courses
- Special courses are arranged periodically to increase awareness on specific subjects, such as: • Rail Wheel Interaction & derailment • Geotechnical Investigation • Survey • USFD • AT & FB welding • Mechanized Maintenance • Points & Crossings • Curves • High Speed Track • Track Recording • TMS including Store Modules
- Staff responsible for maintaining welded tracks or working with machines should receive special training on relevant subjects before being posted in these areas.
Certificate of Competency
- A qualified person is appointed to ensure safe working and proper output.
- The qualified person must hold a certificate of competency, issued according to prescribed instructions.
- The certificate of competency is valid for a specified period and is renewed periodically.
- Eligible staff must be literate, have knowledge of Hindi or a local language, and have passed a medical test.
