- Permanent Way maintenance: rails, rail joints, sleepers, fastenings, ballast, formation, and electrified/track circuited areas.
- Permanent Way renewals, maintenance, and laying of curved track.
- Inspection systems and speed indicators, patrolling during monsoon and emergency.
- Pre-monsoon precautions, action during accidents and breaches, and level crossings.
Transportation
- General rules, fixed and detonating signals, and systems of train working and signaling.
- Failure of communication on single, double, and multiple lines.
Office Work
- Accounting of stores and Permanent Way materials, Imprest, Tools, and Plants.
- Stock verification, classification, and disposal of surplus materials and materials at site account through TMS (store) Module.
