- Identify need for a qualified scientist and/or regulated research institute, and contact them within the 4th week of June
- Consult with adult-sponsor, parents, and qualified scientist, and finalize the research plan within the 1st week of July
- Conduct experimentation and data analysis for 8 weeks
- Write and finalize the research paper, and prepare necessary Intel ISEF forms within the 2nd week of July to 1st week of September
Research Paper Guidelines
- The Results and Discussion section should include all data gathered from experiments, presented through tables, graphs, figures, etc.
- Appropriate data presentation must be observed, and each table, graph, figure, etc. should have its respective captions
- Captions for tables should be placed on top, while those for figures, graphs, diagrams, etc. should be placed under them
Research Poster Guidelines
- The Research Poster should include the following: Title, Abstract, Background, Objectives, Significance, Methodology, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Recommendation, and Bibliography
- Research poster formats and sizes vary depending on the requirements of the school/science fair
