Every teacher shall participate in the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program of the Professional Regulation Commission to improve efficiency and competitiveness.

Teachers shall maintain professional loyalty, mutual confidence, and faith in one another, and shall support each other when the best interest of learners, the school, or the profession is at stake.
A teacher shall not claim work that is not their own and shall give due credit to others whose work they may use.
Before leaving a position, a teacher shall organize and leave necessary records and data for their successor.
A teacher shall hold confidential information about associates and the school, and shall not divulge unreleased documents or remove records without permission.
Teachers shall seek correctives for unprofessional and unethical conduct of associates, but only with incontrovertible evidence.

Every teacher shall participate in community movements for moral, social, educational, economic, and civic betterment, and provide leadership and initiative.
Teachers shall merit reasonable social recognition by behaving with honor and dignity at all times, and shall refrain from activities that may tarnish their reputation.
Every teacher shall help the school keep the community informed about the school's work and accomplishments, as well as its needs and problems.
Teachers shall understand local customs and traditions, and shall refrain from disparaging the community.
Every teacher is an intellectual leader in the community, especially in the barangay, and shall provide counseling services when needed.

Every teacher shall actively help ensure that teaching is the noblest profession, and shall manifest genuine enthusiasm and pride in teaching.
Teachers shall uphold the highest possible standards of quality education, make the best preparation for their career, and shall be at their best at all times in the practice of their profession.

The Code of Ethics outlines the moral and technical competence expected of licensed professional teachers in the Philippines.
The Code applies to all teachers in all schools in the Philippines, covering public and private schools at the preschool, primary, elementary, and secondary levels.
