- Logic in Philosophy: A key concept in philosophy is using logic to demonstrate different ideas about a situation, premise and conclusion relations. For example, all smokers are not healthy. Different types of reasoning, such as comparative or contrastative logic, are explored in detail. These illustrate ways to demonstrate different viewpoints on any given subject, premise and conclusion relations.
- Philosophical Definitions: A philosopher's definition describes a procedure for reasoning, such as "A mental process that reveals a conclusion from other premises".
- Contrasting Philosophies: Opposing philosophical ideas are analyzed by considering contrary viewpoints for example the statement "all smokers are not healthy" can be contrasted with opposite philosophical ideas by changing how you define "health" or "not healthy".
